NU2U Home will open next door on Sunday March 1st 2026

We will begin accepting items during the month of February and begin their 50 day consignment on March 1st. 

Decor and Housewares: Quality and timeless decorations, seasonal & holiday themed items, modern vintage, unused small appliances, unused kitchen items, new in package bedding, wall decor, small furniture such as settees, end tables, sofa tables, small kitchen sets. 

No used bedding, towels, carpets, cookware, beverage glasses & cups.  No bedroom sets.

TERMS: Consignment terms will be the same as the fashions: Consignor earns 40% of the price that is set by the store. The duration will also be 50 days. 

Difference: We will be doing systematic mark downs: This is a multi-stage reduction where prices drop further over time to move inventory.

Drop-Off Guidelines

When

Drop Off Hours: Tues - Sat: 10:30 – 4:30 Sun 11:30 - 4:30 (Closed Mondays)

Appointments: Tues-Thurs 11:30-4 IF you'd like us to review your items while you wait. If there's any item that doesn't meet our criteria we'll give it back to you.

What to bring

Up to 15 prepared items of the season that we're accepting. Items need to be clean, odor free and inspected for defects. Label each item and put it on a hanger to place on our drop off rack (a return address label or a piece of masking or painter's tape inside the item, not on leather or polyurethane). Your label comes off when our tag goes on.

Notes

Dresses, skirts, leggings, and jeggings are slow sellers—we're extremely selective. Quality Maxi dresses for the Spring & Summer sell best. Modern jeans and pants only—no shredded jeans. Vintage is trending, so any Y2K items are great!

Keep in mind

Drop-offs will not be inspected immediately. Items are processed in the order they are received. Items not accepted due to flaws, season or style will be donated to local charities.

If your relationship with your items isn't over, please don't consign. There's inherent risks of the a retail environment. Staff will do our best to safeguard all items, but NU2U is not liable for loss or damage.

Items we do not accept

Business attire, Used sleepwear, Undergarments, Gowns, Fast fashion (Shein, Amazon & the like), Most used athletic wear, Baby & Children's items. Items that are not clean or have odors including mothball

What We Accept & What Sells Best

Welcome: Tops (#1 seller), jackets, coats, blazers, Modern jeans, purses, perfume, jewelry, luxury labels, vintage items (Band Tees, Harley Davidson Tees, Coach bags, leather jackets, Y2K styles).

Men’s items: New or near-new trendy pieces only (no career wear).

*Quality is very important to what is accepted, regardless of the label.

Top sellers: Tops, holiday themes, color trends.
Slow sellers: Heels, leggings, jeggings, skirts & dresses.

Seasonal Consignment Schedule

We accept items based on the season:

Spring: Late Jan – April

Summer: April – June

Fall: Aug – Oct

Winter: Nov – Dec

How It Works

Consignment Guidelines & Terms

Consignment period

45 days

There's a five day grace period to reclaim any unsold item (if you wish). You'll earn the 40% up to 50 days, but day 46-50 items may deeply discounted.

Earnings

Store earns 60%, consignor earns 40%

$$ We set the prices based on our software's algorithm of past sales, brand and condition. You'll earn 40% of the base price. Buyouts may be considered for high priced items.

We don't progressively reduce pricing during the consignment period, but if there is a discount it reduces earnings equally (store/consignor).

Appointment? or Drop & Shop?

Appointment: we'll inspect your items and hand back to you any item that does not meet our criteria

Drop Off or Drop & Go: no inspection upon drop off. We'll donate if there's an item that does not meet our criteria

*If your items look like they were cared for, they're more likely to sell

Important!

We reserve the right to refuse items we cannot sell. Fri–Sun is reserved for shoppers; drop-offs will be processed the following week. We kindly ask that consignors refrain from reclaiming any unsold items on these days as it interferes with shoppers as well as staff.

Consignment appointments recommended if you want all items inspected and passed-on items returned.

Each item labeled with your name or account # (use tape or a return address label; avoid stickers on leather/faux leather)

Payment & Payout Options

No fees to consign, get paid, or track sales online

Payment options: Shop with your earnings, cash payout up to $10, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or check (in person or mailed)

Payouts are not automatic—contact us during store hours in person, by phone or email

Early pick-up before 45 days will incur a fee. Expired items become store property (day 51)
